Go Realty, Pittsburgh Real Estate Company, Rebranded to Birgo Realty

Post by
Andrew Reichert

Birgo Realty hasn’t been the same since.

We underwent a rebranding change during last September.

We switched from our old identity, Go Realty, to a new identity and look— Birgo Realty.

We’re the same Pittsburgh real estate company, but now we have a different presence!

Everyone involved has put a lot of time and effort into the process. We’ve been loving the change so far. It’s paid off tenfold!

Birgo Realty, The Rhino, and The Oxpecker

We decided we needed a new logo. We needed a new feel. Now what? We knew we wanted it to be a symbol of our company. It’s the identity! So we made sure we took our time as we thought and considered what our values looked like in a logo.

Here’s the final design:

The lower blue section of the logo illustrates a rhino horn. The rhino represents our intense involvement in taking initiative, then charging head-on at the highest priority as we work hard for the greater good. The bird represents an oxpecker.

Together, oxpeckers and rhinos are known for their uniquely symbiotic relationship: the bird removes insects from the Rhino’s body, keeping the rhino healthy while the rhino provides a safe food source for the oxpecker.

The relationship between these two animals reflects our company: The capital side of our agency raises and provides funds, which then allows our operational side to keep doing what we specialize in doing. Improving lives through real estate! The logo is a metaphor for the symbiotic relationship within our business operations.

How We Got Here

Birgo Realty was founded in 2012 by owners Andrew and Shannon Reichert. Back then the company consisted of a very small team– 4 employees– while today, in 2018, there are dozens in the Birgo “family!”

From starting as a small “Mom and Pop” real estate company, Birgo Realty’s grown itself into a full-service brokerage that handles tons of real estate operations. We’ve acquired properties throughout Western Pennsylvania and now we even have a complex in Morgantown, West Virginia! Our dream is to grow beyond even West Virginia.

If you want to learn more about our history, check out our story.

Even though we’re the same company as our old identity under Go Realty, our new brand has helped strengthen us. We’ve huddled around our purpose and core values more— and our new visual identity reflects our expansion and growth as a company infinitely more.

We’re excited to see where we will go together as Birgo Realty!

Keep Up With Birgo
